From today we'll look at simple and inexpensive ways to dress up our homes for Christmas.
Let's start with candles: with vegetable oil, any vegetable oil, we can make candles in glass jars or in the peel of citrus fruits.
With citrus fruits we need:
1) Orange, clementine, grapefruit
2) Sharp knife
3) Any type of vegetable oil (olive, corn, soybeans)
The most difficult step is surely to remove / eat the central portion of the orange being careful to leave the center stem intact.
Let's cut in two the orange and we remove the flesh using a sharp knife, starting from the outer edge. The transaction will result, therefore, easier with some qualities of oranges - type tarot - in others where "the rod" is not delineatissimo. It becomes even more simple with, for example clementines. In this case, you just - without cutting into two previously Mandarin - affect the edge of the skin by drawing a circle and then removing half the needed peel will come off much more simply with lots of stem intact.
At this point it will simply fill the cavity with vegetable oil just below of the central stem used as a wick. The candle, you will see, will be able to burn for several hours, even giving off a good scent in the air!!!!!
